Glenquicken Troutmasters Fishery

The lochan has varying depths of water (at its deepest, over 30ft while, at its shallowest, it's only 4ft) with an average depth of 16ft. The bed of the lochan consists of rock, sand and gravel, peat and clay and it has been dug out and left in ridges, thus creating different depths. This allows the trout to experience a more natural environment and also promotes a variety of natural insect food at different depths and allows you, the angler, more variation in the choice of flies and lines to use.
