Loved our first visit to Barn Lodge everything about it was perfect. Spotless clean modern lodges with the most beautiful views and amazing walks. Site maintained to a high standard with high praise to the staff for this. Hot tub amazing bed comfy this truly is a luxury lodge. Private and secure for the dog the patio doors can be left open for the dog to roam free as there is a secure fence and gate which is an extra bonus. Our wee dog loved it. The walks on the site are well pathed out. This truly is a beautiful place with lots of nice places to visit in the area. Also liked the little extras like the DVD's in the laundry and the free use of the washing machine and dryer in the laundry. Anyone thinking about visiting here will not be disappointed we cannot wait to go back. This was our first visit and from now on we will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the staff at Balmeadowside for such an amazing holiday

At the end of November we spent 2 nights staying in East Cottage as part of my 40th birthday celebrations with my wife and 2 kids (6 &3) We had a great time, the kids (and us) loved the hot tub and the scenery. We were lucky(ish) with the weather (it was November after all!), it did rain a bit but otherwise we didn't let it spoil our time. The cottage was great, exceptionally clean and tidy when we arrived and we tried our best to keep it that way! Lovely garden and BBQ area etc for those visiting in the warmer months We loved it so much we have booked again in April for our 10th wedding anniversary and the kids keep asking when they can go back!! Overall I would definitely recommend a stay at East Cottage and next time we will definitely make use of the variety of different walks etc and take a wander to see the other lodges etc at Balmeadowside. Thanks for having us!

Excellent Accommodation and Location Just back from a week’s stay in Skylark Lodge and cannot praise this place highly enough. While the weather definitely contributed to our enjoyment, we were most impressed with the standard of accommodation and facilities (hot tub, laundry, board game availability, wildlife and spectacular view over this valley. The surroundings are beautiful and particularly well maintained. Also, the site is really well located for visits to the beautiful towns/villages of the East Neuk (St Andrews, Anstruther, St Moanans, Pittenweem, Elie.....to name but a few). As a comparison, in the same week last year, we had a lodge at Piperdam just outside Dundee where we paid DOUBLE the cost but experienced HALF the enjoyment. We will definitely be back.
