Recommend for a family visit to beautiful Dumfries and Galloway Had a fabulous week at Auchendoon at Conifers, we had one of the stonebuilt cottages with a hot tub due to its layout. We were a couple, and a dog, and a 90yr old Dad :) It was perfect location for us with loads to do and visit but a fabulous home from home to come back to. Dogfriendly site and well-equipped property. Thooroughly enjoyed and will recommend. We also loved the look of the lodges and will defiitely be back to the area.

Absolutely excellent The trip we had to the Conifer Lodges was first class. We stayed a week at in the in one of the Kestrel Lodge's. The accomodation is first class all very clean and tidy with everything you need. The staff are all very friendly. The site itself is very well maintained. It's only a short walk into Newton Stewart, my wee dogs loved the walks down by the river Cree. We could have easily stayed another seven days. Will definitely be back. Excellent stay at Auchendoon Booked Kestrel Lodge 6, Auchendoon as a last minute 2 night stay and loved it. Had to phone to confirm accommodation and they couldn't have been nicer. Auchendoon is newer, upgraded lodges and we found it well worth the extra money. The lodge was lovely, perfectly clean and fully equipped. Wifi also worked perfectly. We loved the hot tub and privacy as well as walking the dog round the grounds. Will definitely be back!
