Kiltarlity Lodges near Beauly in Inverness-shire is our most northern location in the Scottish Highlands offering self-catering accommodation nestled among mature silver birch trees. At Kiltarlity we have lodges and cottages sleeping 2 to 8 ranging from traditional in style to modern. All of our properties at Kiltarlity are dog friendly and most now have the added luxury of a private hot tub. We’ve been busy over the past year at Kiltarlity making improvements to our current lodges and adding new properties, why not try one of our new 1 bedroom lodges with a wood burning hot tub!
Drumfork Estate near Glenshee in Perthshire is set on a peaceful and idyllic estate offering lodges and cottages sleeping 2 to 8. This location is a favourite among our animal loving guests as we offer the opportunity to feed our resident llamas and deer as well as also having our family of pygmy goats and ducks who love a treat from a passing guest! Our properties at Drumfork also offer some of the best views from your private hot tub over the Perthshire countryside.
If you are looking for a larger property, Greenmyre Farmhouse is around 40 minutes from Drumfork Estate near Kirriemuir in Angus. This farmhouse offers accommodation for 10 in 5 bedrooms and is perfect for friends and family looking to escape to the countryside. A traditional yet modern farmhouse, this property has become a firm favourite for returning guests.
A more traditional farmhouse, also sleeping 10 in 5 bedrooms, is Vicarsford Farmhouse near St Andrews in Fife. Standing alone on a working farm Vicarsford Farmhouse offers gorgeous views over the Fife countryside and although you will feel you are a million miles away, this property is only 8 miles from Dundee and 9 miles to St Andrews. This spacious property also has a pool table in the games room and table tennis in the garage to keep guests entertained!
10 minutes along the road from Vicarsford Farmhouse we have Balmeadowside Country Lodges and Cottages with properties sleeping 2 to 8. Thoughtfully set out, these properties offer a peaceful and private feel with views over our working fields. If you haven’t looked at our new Treetop Lodges at Balmeadowside yet, we can assure you that the views will not disappoint! At Balmeadowside we also have on-site walks to suit all abilities that will take you past our swans, deer, cattle, llamas and pygmy goats. Explore the local area and then head back to your bubbling hot tub for a relaxing evening.
Rossie Ochil Estate near Forgandenny in Perthshire is another of our working farm locations which offers a tranquil country escape. Here we have luxury lodges sleeping 2 along with traditional cottages sleeping 6 & 8 and of course our gorgeous traditional estate home sleeping up to 16. Only a 30 minute drive from Perth, Rossie Ochil Estate is a great location for a peaceful summer holiday with the option of venturing into a busy town.
Heading further south, we have Conifer Lodges in Newton Stewart, Dumfries and Galloway. Our largest location, Conifer Lodges offers self-catering lodges sleeping 2 to 8. This peaceful location offers a relaxing holiday, however you can walk in to the town of Newton Stewart for bar lunches in around 15 to 20 minutes. Most of our lodges at Conifers now have private hot tubs and are dog friendly! Take advantage of the location and explore the Galloway Forest with your four-legged best friend before heading back to your lodge to take in the dark skies region and star gaze from your private hot tub!
We have been working hard at Conifers updating our older lodges and we are positive, if you have not yet been to stay in our refurbished Birch and Conifer Lodges, you will be delighted with the changes we have made.
The last of our locations to mention is Auchendoon at Conifer Lodges, set exclusively in the walled garden to the back of Conifer Lodges, these properties offer a touch of luxury to your summer holiday. With only 8 properties you can enjoy everything Conifers has to offer with the added bonus of a truly peaceful and private setting.
