Best break! Where do I start. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Loved the bed (comfy) as well as the pillows. Had a great night sleep every night. The shower is on another level. Power shower all day long. Didn’t want to get out! Lodge absolutely spotless and so nice to have dog blankets, bowls and treats waiting for our two. Also got the celebration package which included banners and balloon. Made it feel very special. Walks are so nice for the dogs. So many to choose from. Nice scenery all around and we especially enjoys having our lodge right next to the goats. So friendly and always looking to say hello. Honestly one of the best holidays we’ve been on with the dogs and can’t wait to book again. Weather wasn’t the best but it’s Scotland. Were used to it. Didn’t ruin our holiday one bit. Love love love!!

A must visit for total relaxation and some peace and quite time! This was our first lodge experience and we were delighted at the high standard throughout. We booked into the Beechnut Lodge for 2 and our dog came too. The place was absolutely spotless in everyway. Everything you needed was on hand. Lovely touch with a water bowl, blanket, poo bags and biscuits for our pooch. We hired bathrobes and extra towels for our stay. On booking there are plenty other add ons too from food packages to bbqs. Booking was easy and kept informed throughout and easy check in details. Great walks within the farm area and short drive into Cupar and about 20mins to St Andrews. If you are looking for a peaceful relaxing time these are perfect and we will definitely be back!

Maple cottage Balmeadowside Our second visit to balmeadowside didn't disappoint. We stayed in Maple cottage which was absolutely beautiful. It was very quiet, secluded and romantic. The four poster bed and the stunning bathroom are just a touch of luxury that makes the stay perfect. The decor - nice cushions, art and interior design are lovely. Treats and blankets left for dogs is is lovely touch, which makes us feel they understand the importance of of fur babies! The private garden with the hot tub was delightful. We were lucky enough to have great weather and ate in the garden after a dip in the wonderful hot tub. We had a problem with the hot tub (we'd mistakenly changed the settings) and someone was there within 10 minutes to help! The site is perfect, we did all of the walks with our boy, who had the time of him life. We only left the site once, as we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and relaxation of the site - just what we needed and what a holiday should be. Five star luxury, thank you.
