One of four ‘Tree Lodges’, Douglas Fir Lodge offers great accommodation for families and friends with a large open plan living area, complete with underfloor heating. Patio doors open out to your secure decking area complete with private hot tub, the perfect place to escape and unwind.
Balmeadowside is perfectly situated for exploring Fife, an area with an abundance of activities and days out to suit all interests, although you don’t even have to leave Balmeadowside for an adventure; explore the onsite walks and look out for our resident deer, llamas and pygmy goats…if you find the fairy tree, be sure to leave a wish!

Sleeps Douglas Fir Lodge sleeps up to 4.
Family An additional guest bed or travel cot can be added to your booking if you have young children. Douglas Fir Lodge will sleep a maximum of 4 plus 1 guest bed or travel cot.
Dogs We allow up to 2 dogs in Douglas Fir at an additional cost. 1 dog will cost £30.00 and 2 dogs will cost £45.00 per stay.
Bedrooms One king size bedroom and one twin bedroom.
Bathroom One bathroom with shower over bath.
Facilities Underfloor heating, 70/30 midi height fridge freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, oven, induction hob, hairdryer located in master bedroom, TV & DVD player, integrated Bluetooth speaker, private hot tub.
WiFi We have free WiFi in all of our properties, and you will find the password in your welcome book. Please note that we cannot guarantee the signal strength or quality. Bookings should not be made if they are wholly reliant upon the uninterrupted provision of WiFi. If you are looking to watch films etc, we would recommend downloading these prior to arrival.
Arrival & Departure Douglas Fir Lodge has flexible entry dates. Arrival time is any time from 4pm. Departure is 10am.
Outside Douglas Fir Lodge offers an enclosed decking overlooking the Fife countryside where you will find your private hot tub and garden furniture. This lodge is also located close to the the small play park.
Parking There is parking to the side of your lodge for 1 car plus additional visitor parking on site.
