It’s been a strange year and unfortunately many of the usual Halloween events are being cancelled however there are still a few things going on within driving distance of our locations so we’ve put together a few ideas of things to do over Halloween in Scotland this year…

Cairnie Fruit Farm Pumpkin Patch

For those of you who have stayed with us at Balmeadowside in Fife over the last few Halloween weekends, you will have seen our carved pumpkins!

We love to visit Cairnie to pick our own pumpkins to carve, they have pumpkins of all colours, shapes and sizes. This year they ask that you do book online ahead of time to help them manage numbers for a safe and fun experience.

Edinburgh Drive in Movies Halloween Special

From 29th October to 1st November make your way to Edinburgh Airport for a Halloween Drive In Special with classic films such as Ghostbusters, Halloween, Hocus Pocus and Scream to name a few.

There will also be pre-film entertainment with an interactive quiz and fright filled singalongs!

Cocoabean Factory Pumpkin Patch

From the 10th October until the 1st November the Pumpkin Patch at the Cocoabean Factory in Dumfries & Galloway with be open.
Enjoy the farmyard games, mud kitchen plus lots more for children of all ages.

Highland Fling Blackout Bungee

From October, Highland Fling in Pitlochry offer bungee jumps in the pitch black!

If you are an adrenaline junkie then this is the perfect Halloween activity for you…you won’t know where you are going, how far you have fallen or how far you still have to go.
