If you are staying with us over Halloween then why not venture out to explore the local area and see what spooky going-ons are happening around Angus, Dumfries & Galloway, Fife and Perthshire…
This year, the Cocoa Bean Company has it’s first ever Pumpkin Patch running up until 31st October. They also have their family friendly Halloween Disco on Friday 25th October.
The Cocoa Bean Company is in Twynholm and is around a 30 minute drive from Conifer Lodges.
From the 25th to 27th October visit Threave Gardens and take part in the Creepy Crawl between 10am & 5pm if you dare, or for those of you a little braver (from age 8 and over) join their Get Spooked walk through the gardens.
Threave Gardens is in Castle Douglas and is around a 40 minute drive from Conifer Lodges.
For those of you who like to visit Kirroughtree bike trails, you can join their Halloween Ride Out on Wednesday 30th October.
Kirroughtree is just along the road from Conifer Lodges and will take around 10 minutes in the car.
Head in to Cupar Library on Thursday 31st October for their Hocus Pocus Stories & Crafts, excellent for keeping the little ones entertained!
Cupar is only a 10 minute drive from Balmeadowside and 20 minutes from Vicarsford Farmhouse.
If you are looking for something a little different join the Murder Mystery Evening at Hill of Tarvit. The fright night is suitable for all ages however they do recommend children are over 10.
Join the City of Perth Halloween Parade and Fun Night, take a haunted tour or conquer the zombie maze on Saturday 26th October.
Perth City Centre is a 25 minute drive from Rossie Ochil and a 50 minute drive from Drumfork.
For those of you aged 16 and over venture over to Scone Palace for their Spirits of Scone Halloween event where they promise you a terrifying tour you’ve never experienced before! From Friday 25th to Thursday 31st October.
Scone Palace is a 30 minute drive from Rossie Ochil and a 45 minute drive from Drumfork.
Enter the abandoned Glamis Castle with haunted tours beginning at 7pm, take part in some trick or treating or carve a pumpkin on Tuesday 29th to Thursday 31st October.
Glamis Castle is a 15 minute drive from Greenmyre.
Create your own slimey monster at the Dundee Science Centre or are you brave enough to stick your hand into a cauldron of wriggly worms?
The Dundee Science Centre is a 40 minute drive from Greenmyre, a 15 minute drive from Vicarsford and a 20 minute drive from Balmeadowside.
